While visiting NYC back in July, we got to be guests on WFUV's Idiot's Delight, hosted by the incomparable Vin Scelsa. We're relieved that we seem to have made a good impression.

Hungrytown makes the Seven Days top 10 Vermont Recordings of 2008 list. Huzzah!

A lovely review of, well, us appears in the November/December 2008 issue of Yankee magazine.

We got to be guests on Vin Scelsa's Idiot's Delight on WFUV, New York. It was lots o' fun and no one needed to call security. You can hear the program in its entirety by scrolling down to the July 19th, 2008 show at this archive site.

The numbers are in--and they add up to Hungrytown. According to data harvested from 157 Folk and Bluegrass DJs in June, Hungrytown rose to the occasion:

• Top Albums and Songs: Hungrytown at #7, with the songs "One Morning in May," "Rose or the Briar," "Lucille, Lucille" and "Hungrytown Road."
  
• Top Songs: "One Morning in May" at #9 and "Rose or the Briar" at #23.
  
• Top Artists: Hungrytown at #10.

Hungrytown has been buried under a slag heap of good reviews. Here's proof. Huzzah!
